This new version has more display effects and mixed frame switch. The touch sensor is attached to the ribbon cable. A long press = OSD, a short press = brightness adjustment.

This 3.0 inch IPS M2 screen can be used in the original shell or the new shells we stock here.

The kit comes with a laminated glass lens already attached. With a laminated display the air gap between the display and front glass is removed. This greatly increases the viewing experience and removes the worry about dust and dirt getting under the lens.

This kit is suitable for all official Game Boy Advance SP consoles.

To use the brightness button for OSD menu:

• Long hold (3 to 5 seconds) the brightness button to open the OSD
• Press the button once to change the currently highlighted option
• Long hold the brightness button again to switch highlighted options
• To close the OSD simply don't press the brightness button for 5 seconds

To use the touch sensor for OSD menu and brightness:

• Short press (one to two seconds) adjusts brightness levels without entering OSD menu. Long press (3 to 5 seconds) will open OSD menu.
• Long press again to change menu selection.
• Tap/short press to adjust selection in menu.
• To close the OSD simply don't press/tap the sensor for 5 seconds.

Notes;

1. Fifteen levels of brightness (BRT) are available via the integrated touch sensor. If you require the brightness to function via the button soldering is required. 

2. 5 levels of color effect (CLR) Modes: Normal, High contract, Retro Color, Grayscale color and GB green.

3. This kit is suitable for the AGS-101 and the AGS-001 consoles.

4. Please test your screen kit for faults before installation, photo or video will be required for potential warranty claims. Any issues are to be reported before installing inside a shell or adhering to a gasket. Once stuck down it will not remove without damaging the screen or the ribbon. 

5. It is advisable to wear a static bracelet before installing the screen to avoid any potential shorts.
